Internship Overview: We are seeking a motivated IT Operations & Automation Intern to support the core IT department in maintaining a high-standard Microsoft 365 environment. This role offers a comprehensive overview of enterprise IT, from hands-on end-user support and device management to governance, risk, and compliance (GRC). The intern will focus on modernizing infrastructure and driving efficiency through AI and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Core IT Operations: Assist with Help Desk support, manage device inventory, and handle account provisioning.
• Microsoft 365 Optimization: Focus on optimizing Teams, Intune management, and security/compliance settings.
• SharePoint Modernization: Lead upgrades for SharePoint sites and lists while improving document library governance.
• Process Automation: Create Power Automate workflows and reporting dashboards to streamline internal IT processes.
• Governance & Compliance (GRC): Provide support for the corporate risk register and assist with audit readiness and security awareness.
• Knowledge Management: Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and project documentation.
• AI Integration: Apply AI prompt engineering to solve IT challenges and contribute to AI Knowledge Assistant projects.

Qualifications:

• Education: Current student or recent graduate with a strong passion for Information Technology.
• Technical Knowledge: Foundational understanding of Microsoft 365 (Teams, Outlook, Excel, SharePoint).
• Interest Areas: A primary focus on IT operations and automation (rather than solely cybersecurity).
• Competencies: Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset and a positive attitude.
• Logic & Reasoning: Ability to interpret instructions in various forms to build automated workflows.
• Preferred: Familiarity with security frameworks is a bonus.
