Business Operations/Human Resources Internship

Internship Overview: We are seeking a motivated Business Operations/Human Resources Intern to join our team. This internship offers hands-on experience in various aspects of business operations and HR functions. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals, gaining valuable insights into operational processes and HR practices within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. HR Administration: Assist with various HR administrative tasks, including recruitment, onboarding, employee documentation, and file management.
  2. Talent Acquisition: Support the recruitment process by sourcing candidates, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communications.
  3. Employee Engagement: Contribute to initiatives aimed at fostering a positive work environment, such as organizing team-building activities, employee recognition programs, and wellness initiatives.
  4. Training and Development: Assist in organizing training sessions and workshops for employees, including logistical arrangements and materials preparation.
  5. Policy and Procedure Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including updating employee handbooks, tracking training requirements, and maintaining HR records.
  6. Data Analysis: Collect and analyze HR data to identify trends, provide insights, and support decision-making processes.
  7. Business Operations Support: Provide support to various business operations functions, such as inventory management, procurement, or facilities management, as needed.

Qualifications:

  • H.S. or College student interested in or currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Business Administration, Human Resources Management or similar. 
  • Strong interest in HR and business operations.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Prior internship or relevant work experience is a plus.

Additional Requirements:

  • Availability to work 20 – 30 hours per week during June 3rd – August 16th.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and willingness to take on new challenges.
