ICAM Architecture SME
Job Summary:
Osi Vision is seeking an experienced senior ICAM Architecture SME to lead a team of highly technical ICAM specialists to accelerate ICAM onboarding throughout the Department of the Air Force (DAF). The team will be at the forefront of a major digital transformation, ensuring a seamless and secure transition of applications onto to the DAF’s ICAM stack. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will guide your team, design robust solutions to complex technical challenges, and serve as a technical expert relied on by the government and contractor team to attack complex problem sets.

The team will be at the forefront of a major digital transformation, ensuring a seamless and secure transition of applications onto to the DAF’s ICAM stack. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will guide your team, design robust solutions to complex technical challenges, and serve as a technical expert relied on by the government and contractor team to attack complex problem sets.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of engineers in the design, development, and implementation of ICAM solutions for a diverse set of customers
- Oversee the successful onboarding of new applications, ensuring they are integrated securely and efficiently into the DAF ICAM framework.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to both your team and other stakeholders on our delivery team
- Collaborate with various teams, including application owners, security specialists, and network engineers, to define requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Contribute as a member on an Agile development team, defining requirements and helping other leads prioritize project backlogs, sprints, and delivery pipelines,
- Identify and mitigate common ICAM implementation pitfalls, such as data integrity issues, user experience challenges, and complex integration requirements.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, integration guides, and operational procedures.
- Recommend and advise on capability, security and architecture enhancements to the existing and operational DAF ICAM stack
Knowledge & Skill Requirements:
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing enterprise-level ICAM solutions.
- Large and diverse organizations comparable to Services and Agency’s in the Federal government and Department of Defense is strongly preferred
- Multiple deployments and iterations from early conception to system stewardship preferred
- Deep understanding based on experience with ICAM architecture tailored for enterprises of various configurations and size
- Deep technical knowledge of one or more of the following platforms: SailPoint IdentityIQ, Okta Workforce Identity, or Radiant Logic Identity Data Store.
- Deep understanding of traditional Active Directory/Azure deployments of Access Control compared to those in a robust ICAM framework
- Strong understanding of Agile software development principles and experience with tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or ServiceNow.
- Tertiary experience with scripting and automation to work with other software developers who may automate processes you design (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- A strong background in system security and an understanding of government and military security requirements is a plus.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in software/cyber/engineering related field
- Relevant Master's degree preferred
- 10+ years demonstrated experience working with cybersecurity/IT platforms
- 5+ years specifically in the ID/Authentication and ICAM space
- 5+ years working in the DoD IT arena
Required Licenses or Certifications:
- ACTIVE Secret Security Clearance
- CISSP, CIAM, or CIGE strongly preferred
