ICAM Application Onboarding Lead

Job Summary:

The Application Onboarding Lead is responsible for coordinating the intake, triage, scheduling, and support of application onboarding processes, ensuring a throughput of 40 applications per month as mandated by the Performance Work Statement (PWS). This role involves managing end-to-end onboarding workflows, resolving blockers, ensuring compliance with authentication and provisioning standards, and providing exceptional customer service to application owners. The Lead will leverage tools like ServiceNow, Okta, and SailPoint to streamline processes and deliver comprehensive documentation.

Job Duties:  

  • Perform intake and triage of applications, categorizing them by complexity (low, medium, high).  
  • Coordinate registration, credential issuance, and enrollment workflows for efficient onboarding.  
  • Monitor onboarding progress and collaborate with system owners to resolve issues promptly.  
  • Ensure applications meet authentication and provisioning requirements for secure integration.  
  • Assist application owners in preparing for User Acceptance Testing (UAT).  
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including intake forms, pipeline schedules, readiness assessments, triage reports, onboarding playbooks/templates, and UAT readiness checklists.  
  • Utilize collaboration tools (MS Teams, SharePoint) to facilitate communication and coordination.

Required Qualifications:  

  • Hands-on experience integrating applications with identity provider and Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) platforms.  
  • Proven experience onboarding applications at scale in complex enterprise environments.  
  • Strong knowledge of Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and automated provisioning processes.  
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills for coordinating with application owners and resolving issues.  
  • Proficiency with ServiceNow (intake/workflow management), Okta Admin Console (application federation), and SailPoint IdentityIQ (entitlement provisioning).  
  • Active Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Certifications: CISSP, GSLC, CSM, or CIAM.  
  • Advanced experience with MS Teams and SharePoint for collaboration and documentation.  
  • Familiarity with creating tailored onboarding playbooks and UAT readiness checklists.
