ICAM Communications & Engagement Specialist

Job Summary:

The Communications & Engagement Specialist leads outreach, education, and stakeholder engagement efforts to ensure application owners understand the Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) onboarding process and recognize ICAM as a mission enabler. This role involves developing onboarding guides, conducting workshops, promoting ICAM adoption through targeted communications, and ensuring transparency in the onboarding pipeline. The Specialist will collaborate with program offices and stakeholders to foster engagement and deliver clear, accessible messaging to non-technical audiences.

Job Duties:  

  • Develop onboarding guides, FAQs, and training materials tailored to application owners.  
  • Conduct workshops, briefings, and training sessions for system owners to facilitate ICAM adoption.  
  • Promote ICAM benefits through newsletters, success stories, and targeted messaging campaigns.  
  • Coordinate communication across program offices and stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity.  
  • Support onboarding pipeline transparency by creating visual dashboards and engagement reports.  
  • Collect and analyze stakeholder feedback using survey tools to improve communication strategies.
  • Required Qualifications:  Experience in change management and IT adoption initiatives, preferably in enterprise or DoD environments.  
  • Ability to translate complex ICAM concepts into clear, accessible language for non-technical audiences.  
  • Proven experience facilitating workshops or training sessions for diverse stakeholders.  
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for engaging non-technical system owners.  
  • Proficiency with collaboration and training tools (MS Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint), documentation tools (Adobe Acrobat, MS Word), and survey/feedback platforms.  
  • Active Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Certifications: Change Management certifications such as Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP).  
  • Experience developing stakeholder newsletters, success stories, or communication templates.  
  • Familiarity with creating visual dashboards or reports to enhance transparency in processes.  
  • Background in stakeholder engagement within technical or government programs.
