Quality Assurance Specialist

Osi Vision is seeking a Junior Quality Assurance Specialist to support the National Guard Bureau (NGB), Army National Guard (ARNG), with the Force Management Office and the Chief Surgeon’s Office. This position is located at Herbert R. Temple Army National Guard Readiness Center (TARC) in Arlington, VA. 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

ARNG-CSO-S (SGS) Technical Analyst (Quality Assurance Specialist) 

  • Performance under this task involves the completion of Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNET)/classified to include NIPR/controlled unclassified information tasks. 
  • Enter taskers in the National Guard Bureau (NGB) Electronic Tasking System (ETS) received from the Department of Defense (DoD) through the Correspondence and Management Tasking System (CATMS) and the DoD Instructions Portal as well as in the NGB ETS from HQ USAF, HQDA, ARNG, ANG, JS, NG Space, and NGB that require NGB input.  
  • Determine the proper Office of Primary Responsibility (OPR), staffing requirements based on the level of approval, and suspense dates according to the appropriate staffing processes and procedures instruction and manual.  
  • Performance involves completion of Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNET) tasks. 
  • Ensure proper tasking, prioritizing, tracking, researching, staffing and archiving of all senior level correspondence from initiation to closure. 
  • Upload required documents into Task Management Tool (TMT) to support tasks. 
  • Monitor, upload and close out all completed TMT taskers. 
  • Attend staff action meetings as required and be prepared to provide, either verbally or in writing, the status of tasks assigned to NGB in the ETS. 
  • Provide electronic, telephonic, and/or one-on-one reminders on all due and overdue tasks to the appropriate organizational level. 
  • Provide procedural guidance to NGB personnel concerning proper staffing of an action to meet suspense dates according to the appropriate staffing manuals for staffing processes.  
  • Facilitate monthly synchronization meeting to provide guidance to WFMs on TS system improvements and business processes. 
  • Provide quality control and assurance measures by reviewing and applying controls set by ARNG leadership against directorates requests for training, conferences, workshops, meetings, symposiums, within Tasking. 
  • Coordinate with Action Officers (AO) and the NGB Executive Secretariat Conference Management team to verify completed conference packets are submitted within the established conference policy guidelines for approval.  
  • Ensure identified and document shortfalls of conference packets are adjudicated prior to review by senior leaders. 
  • Assist and advise the Secretary of the General Staff by analyzing training and conference processes and providing guidance based on subject matter expertise. 
  • Build presentations for senior leader review and approval of Fiscal Year (FY) training and events. 
  • Review and edit outgoing correspondence for compliance with format, grammar, content, and regulations (NGB, Headquarters, Department of the Army (HQDA), ARNG). 
  • Coordinate with adjacent offices, directorates, and visiting personnel to schedule meetings with ARNG key leaders. 
  • Coordinate the pick-up, drop-off, and distribution of mail and sensitive materials for the CSZ Directorate. 
  • Coordinate and schedule conference room availability within the TARC for meetings and events.  
  • Reserve and prepare a site/location for conducting promotion ceremonies, award presentations, and ARNG CSZ off-sites, and other official functions. 
  • Review, distribute, update, and edit Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2) taskers. 
  • Consolidate and review weekly ARNG-CSZ situation reports, task trackers, and key working initiatives for review and distribution to division Action Officers. 
  • Review and edit award/gifts requests (Pentagon or TARC, Minuteman statues, Heritage paintings, etc.) and forward orders to the proper ARNG And/or joint staff office. 
  • Maintain and update office personnel rosters, telephone rosters, COOP roster, emergency phone rosters, and training rosters for all CSO-S Directorate personnel. 

Required Qualifications: 

  • High School Diploma. 
  • 0 to 3 years’ experience performing similar duties in a military or civilian organization. 
  • Active Secret Clearance. 

Travel: 

  • Travel as directed to attend meetings and conduct training.
